Why Granite You Ask......

There are many hard surface materials on the market, ranging from Corian, Sile Stone, Zodiak, and many other man made materials.  These products contain an acryllic finish that has a low level UV block to them.   This means these surfaces can have greater wear and tear to them when compared with Granite and other Natural Stone products.  Michael is a fabricator of these man made surfaces and is also talented with Granite, Marble, Natural Stone, and Engineered Stones such as Hanstone, Corian, Zodiaq, Quartz, Caesarstone, Avonite, and Soapstone.  Michael has been fabricating and installing Corian and Avonite products since the early 80's and was even featured in a custom home publication for his creative use of these products.  Where the man made versions are newly created materials, and can be damaged through rapid weather changes, constantly changing temperatures from cooking, and abrasive of high acid cleaning materials.  All of these things can reduce the life of your man made surfaces, but this is not the case with granite.  When granite is installed with the proper impregnator and a care kit is given, granite will continue to have a high lust shine.  In other words it will last the life of your family, kitchen, and house.

               Adding Permanent Color To Your Stone...

Michael has also come up with a new way to add permanent color to a stone.  Where most stone is white with black veins, he can add a green vein, gold vein, or any color to match the decor of your house and kitchen.   The new color will become the permanent color of your new stone.  Make sure to ask Michael about this exciting new process.
